Rosario is an Autumn Fiesta...The Band from La Mamola plays...many family members return for a family tradition...the roads and plaza are cleared of cars and there is a short service in the church which anyone is welcome to attend...then Mary surrounded by flowers is brought into the square and fireworks more like canons go off...It is really quite an experience to watch the whole village accompany the statue and follow her up to the top of the village and with songs particular to this occasion and then back down into the square...where she returns to the church...

Quickly tables are brought out into the square and ham and cheese, bread and almonds and wine flow freely all are welcome...After feasting and celebrating a singer with guitar or band proceed to play...and everyone traditionally dances the Pasodoble...well into the night...

This is just one of the fiestas in the village...there are quite a number...the longest being the August Fiesta which is 3 days long...approx first weekend in August around the 6th-8th August...Another is Semana Santa at Easter - also quite an occasion...
